Description:  This is a song I wrote taken from one of the last sayings of Christ on the cross. In fact, included in this collection of songs and choruses, I have a chorus for each of the 7 last sayings of Christ on the cross. We have used these songs in our church on Easter many times as a special easter musical.

Description:  This is a song that teaches that God loves a cheerful giver.   It is written with a antiphonal men's part.   This song includes a piano score and makes a good song to be used for missions month.   At our church we taught the song to the choir first and then the congregation.   The congregation never sang the antiphonal part but we had the men of the choir doing the antiphonal part while everyone else sings the main melody.

Description:  Most people do not consider that one of the commands of the Lord is to assemble yourself faithfully with God's people. This is how we obey the command of remembering the sabbath day in our day and age. This song teaches this by taking that clear text Hebrews 10:24-& 25 and setting it to song. Using this song in church is a good way to remind people of this command without brow beating those who have slipped into a backslidden state in this matter.

Description:  This is one of my favorite Scripture Choruses. It tells how that God loves us, and because He loves us, we now can love Him and one another. I have used this many times as an invitational song in our church. One of the greatest texts in the Bible!

Description:  This is more of a Gospel song or Hymn than a Scripture Chorus.   It is taken from that last saying of Christ on the cross, "I Thirst."   This makes a good choir or quartet song for Easter or in fact, any occasion.

This song can be sung by a choir or quartet occapella or you can obtain a instrumental accompaniment tape that we have available for it. We hope to add a piano score when time permits. The piece tries to depict one of the last statements of Christ on the cross when he said, in Matt. 27:46 "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Music is one way we can fulfill this command.   Through Scriptuire Music we will naturally find ourselves meditating on Scripture without strain or effort.

Description:  A few years back I went to quote the Ten Commandments to someone and found myself stumbling through them and not putting them in the right order.   A survey was taken and it was found that over half of the clergymen in the country could not properly quote the ten commandments.   How many times have people said they believe in following the ten commandments?   Most times when asked to quote them, the majority of people cannot.   I decided to set the ten commandments to music to help people in the church learn to quote and memorize the Ten Commandments.   Usually we sing this little song in Sunday School opening.   It is a great song to help memorize the ten commandments.

Description:  In 1975 I faced some of the most discouraging things I ever faced in my christian life. I was in Bible College at the time and some of my friends and even professors wondered if I was going to throw in the towel. One night I sat in my little trailer and opened my Bible and it fell open to John chapter 6. As I read the passage I realized that God may allow things in our life that we do not understand and may even offend us, but when we put our hand to the plow, we have no where else to go but to the Lord. When we take up our cross to follow the Lord we need to burn up any bridges behind us and continue to serve the Lord.
